Greetings, My
name is Brandon. I would like to tell you a little about myself. I
have been pursuing a full time career in the field of visual communications
for over six years and have gained a tremendous amount of
experience.
I began my career shortly after leaving my very small hometown Mt. Zion, Illinois.
In Illinois I was a metal worker for about two years in my neighboring city
Decatur and was responsible for the CNC programming for a very successful small
business called Union Iron Works. Even though I had great opportunities with
Union Iron I wasn't satisfied with my career as a metal worker, I wanted to
have more fun with my career so I decided to move on. That's when I decided
to move to Tampa, Florida to work and study.
Shortly after my move to Tampa I began studying while working full time for
an apparel company called Tropical Sportswear Int'l (TSI). When I began working
in the corporate office at TSI I found my niche in the marketing/creative department.
I then realized that visual communications was the challenging line of work
I had been looking for. Graphic design would allow me to make use of my creative
talents while making a living, and that gave me the satisfaction I was looking
for. So I enrolled in the best design school in the Tampa Bay area Int'l Academy
of Design and Technology.
Shortly after obtaining my diploma as an Associate
of Science in Graphic Design and graduating at the top of my class as "Cum
Laude" I was promoted from Junior Graphic Designer to the more esteemed
position of Graphic Designer. He he...
After working at TSI for over four years I came to another turning point in
my life and decided to move to the Washington DC area to continue my career.
After my move to the DC area I found a great job with an advertising
agency named Black Rock Communications. I am currently working full time
for Black Rock as a graphic designer.
I am always looking for new opportunities in my field of work and would like
to work with you on your next big project. Please contact
me. I would be more than happy to talk to you about your next big project.
